Incredibly unhelpful office

Our lease is ending on the UES and we spent the past week looking at tons of places - there are lots of beautiful apartments in luxury buildings offering major discounts right now and it's a great time to be looking. Our lease is ending on the UES and we spent the past week looking at tons of places - there are lots of beautiful apartments in luxury buildings offering major discounts right now and it's a great time to be looking. All offices were helpful, sociable, and ready to give us lots of information - e.g. trying to sell! The one enormous exception - 70 West 95th. The woman in the office was downright rude, stood silently as we asked normal questions everyone else had been answering - it was as if she didn't want us to take the apartment. The apartment itself was just plain not the picture listed (that we think were actually of the sister building 101 E 90) smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, with marijuana in the hallways and lobby and very thin walls... I would recommend skipping this building entirely because the prices are currently the same as some gorgeous buildings with excellent offices in the area and further downtown. [less]
