Discussion about Lexington Towers at 160 East 88th Street in Carnegie Hill
This building purports to be a luxury building but the infrastructure of the building is well below luxury (leaky windows that new owners of building haven't replaced, pipe bursts and water damage, mildew on walls from lack of insulation near pipes, old and ineffective HVACs, power outrages) and the management company either does not respond or responds but doesn't do anything. This is not a luxury building. The renovated apartments are quite nicely done but it is a bit of "lipstick on a pig".
