Many a time i have been asked why do i need an attorney and what makes one better than another if they all do the same job. Like all professionals, there are those that know their way around the laws/process better than others, have been practicing for a long time, many successful deals and clients, better at deciphering contractual information and negotiating, better at due process. Some buyers choose to work with an attorney that does malpractice or divorce law because they are a friend of friends and cutting them a deal, a major NO. You would not go to a dentist to look at your sore knee. You need a focused attorney with a good reputation. Also if you are tempted to use an Attorney from another state because of price or any other reason think twice and don't. Laws and process differ from state to state.
