Temporarily moving from CT/Ny Tax question

I work from Home in NYC, last summer we moved out during summer June- August to a house in CT (long story we were buying a place in the city and we had to wait for the TCO). I wonder if I declare that I was living and working in CT for that period, would I get tax credit or is CT taxes similar to NYC that It wouldn't make a big difference, just my accountant charging me more due to all the paperwork he will have to fill? thanks!
