Prospective buyer beware! This unit has been on and off the block since last Summer. That we know of, three sales have fallen through, including ours. We were strung along for almost six months, first by the board whom we had to finally contact ourselves to find we has been rejected. Then we personally contacted the seller, Adam himself who claimed he would get us the sale because he claimed to have "unsold shares" and could circumvent the board. Then to top it off, he claimed to be suing the board for his right to sell without their approval. Our credentials were impeccable, the highest credit rating, an all cash offer, excellent reference letters, highly credible backgrounds (principal of a highly regarded architectural firm and stay at home mom.) the entire experience with the seller, the management company and board was awful! Why are we sharing so much information? It most honestly is not a case of sour grapes! This ended up costing us almost $3,000 in attorney's fees and another $1,500 in application expenses which the management company charged. The worst of it is... We missed a huge window of opportunity in which numerous other prospective homes were snatched up. BOTTOM LINE, we want to do what we can to make sure this doesn't happen to someone else. Also you might want to do your homework on other listings in the building. Many have also gone on and off the market since late last Summer. [less]
