My honest opinion about the building. I own my unit since 2008. The building has become too children friendly in the past few years. The board is spending too much on the playroom that attracts families with pre-schoolers. We used to withstand luxury building standards, these days trailer park is the motif. The ambiance of a NYC luxury condominium residence is destroyed. This is a far cry and further erosion since this building was listed several years ago by the newspapers as one of the ten most luxurious buildings in Manhattan. I love the neighborhood and I'm considering selling my unit and moving to better building such as the Manhattan Place or Tudor Pl. Financially the building is not stable, last year board wasted 40K in legal fees on the ill-advised, bike lane fight against city hall. Just because some families would like to unload their strollers and endless groceries right in front of the door, crossing the bike lane, 6 feet away, is not good enough for them [less]
