As a prior renter, I feel the need to warn other potential renters about this property and the people that run it. Most of my requests to have things in the apartment fixed were ignored. As a prior renter, I feel the need to warn other potential renters about this property and the people that run it. Most of my requests to have things in the apartment fixed were ignored. For example, I had to figure out how to fix a broken toilet and shower drain myself, and requests to have leaks on both sinks fixed went unanswered. The landlord also didn't replace a window with a crack in it (it was like that when I moved in, and they had the guts to take money out of my security deposit for it when I moved out, even though they never fixed it for me.) They are also trying to retain part of my security deposit for having an exterminator come to my apartment, even though that should be included in the rent and I never saw a bill for these services. The broker is also oddly intertwined with the landlord and you have no access to speak to anyone directly at the landlord, only through the broker. The super is also always very grumpy, unlike anything I have seen. I would highly recommend avoiding this building. [less]
