The Westmont

This used to be a really warm and well run building. Now, it's all about the money. The management tries to charge for everything- a new $500 amenity fee for just about everything the tenants used to get for free- ie. concierge, laundry room, party room that you have to pay to use, and gym (that had always been free). There is even a $500 fee imposed on people with pets (this is pet friendly?) not as security, but rather to "beautify the community." The rents can go up more than 30% annually and the management will negotiate with some, but not others. You really feel that management is out to take as much money as they can from their tenants. Gone are the days of community and commitment to those who have lived many years as timely rent paying tenants.
