Currently, the city and the police dept are helpless in regulating the parked vendors on the north side of 86th and Lex. The Taco Man and Sushi trucks occupy daily spots to feed the masses that enter and exit the subway. The east side of Lex just below 86th in front of the Lucida looks like prime expansion area for the vendors. Will Lucida's developers and buyers be willing to go up against these strong vendor alliances that are swamping other parts of our city?
