Building: The Laurel

Built in 2005, The Laurel is a 30-story tall condominium made up of 129 residences developed by Izak Senbahar and Simon Elias of Alexico Group. Designed to be environmentally sustainable and energy efficient, The Laurel is a “green” LEED-certified building.

In a prime location on the Upper East Side, the building is surrounded by fashion boutiques, fine dining, The New York Public Library, St. Catherine’s Park and the world famous auction house, Sotheby’s. It is also just a short distance from the cross town bus service and the 68th street 6 train subway station.

Apartments range from ranging from 496 ft² studio to a four bedroom, 4,073ft² Penthouse with
substantial outdoor space. All of which include oversized glass windows and 9’-12’ ceiling heights. Units have solid oak wood flooring, Poggenpohl cabinets, Sub-Zero refrigerators, Gaggenau appliances, wine coolers and Bosch washers and dryers.

The Laurel’s amenities include a 24 hour doorman, Full-time concierge, On-site parking, an On-site resident building manager, private triathlon training, private storage, bicycle/carriage storage and 12,000 square feet of amenity space.
