We are renovating our apartment and there are a few odds and ends I'm not quite sure how to update/fix. Our contractor is more of a basic installer and isn't offering much guidance on the more nuanced aspects of our project. Hoping some of you know what to do or where to go! The window in our bathroom is frosted but it's totally grimed over. Hoping I can just pop the old one out and buy a new one exactly the same. It's part of an old system, just buzzing people in and a phone at the front door that doesn't really work. All I want is something that looks new and updated. Also can the doorbell be replaced with something sleeker looking? Here's a pic Finally our radiator boxes are built into the wall and part of the window sill and frame. We are sanding down and repainting the sill and frame, but the panels that pull for access to the radiators are bent and warped. They are thick metal. I would like to replace them with something similar, but maybe a new grill design. Any ideas who can do that? The best I've found is Stanleys Radiators in Jackson Heights, but they specialize more in entire radiator covers that go over the radiator.
