Hey, I'm submitting my application to a coop board in Queens. I asked my landlord for a reference letter and here is what I got back: "Please be advised the above referenced tenant has been residing at the above address since [date]. The current monthly rent is $[four times what my payment on the coop will be]. There is currently a zero balance through September 2017. Should you have any further questions, please contact me at [phone number]." There's no mention of the fact that I've always been on time with the rent. Does this read as a lackluster reference? Do I need to get her to change it? She also emailed this to me with a typed signature, and I'm told boards require letters to be printed on letterhead and hand-signed? Help!
