Holy crap! I moved in recently, and I haven't been able to get a good night's sleep yet. My apt. is facing 8th street, and I understand it's a noisy area, but the apartment windows are absolutely USELESS as far as soundproofing goes. You can pretty much hear conversations from the street and the trucks moving around as if they were sitting on your couch. Has anyone figured out a solution? Maybe getting management to install better windows?
