Looking to anyone who knows the skinny on this building and why the developer decided to put HVAC units that are so loud, you wouldn't be able to think straight. Basically the buyer would have to replace the HVAC unit themselves and this could be costly not to mention you need a permit...which could take months. Looking to anyone who knows the skinny on this building and why the developer decided to put HVAC units that are so loud, you wouldn't be able to think straight. Basically the buyer would have to replace the HVAC unit themselves and this could be costly not to mention you need a permit...which could take months. I'm looking to figure out what else is wrong with this building if anything, and if anyone thinks the prices will go down. Apartments are huge, not too much of a view in some, and really small windows in others, but the pricing for Tribeca is fairly low per sq foot. Also looking to find a competent HVAC person to take a look at these apartments (specifically apt 6B a three bedroom) and to give me the real deal on what they could do in the short term to dubb the noise and possibly long term if permit is granted etc. [less]
