I almost feel bad posting this - but I always check the bed bug registry before I contact an agent about seeing an apartment. There are 3 reports of bed bugs in this building. They're all in 2010, but as we know - that's not very long ago, considering a bed bug can live in the wall etc for a year without eating.
I hope it's not the case, that this place has a current infestation, but I'm suspicious that there are always so many units up for sale or rent. I would just proceed with caution and try to talk to current tenants if you can.
