ConEd- service start portal broken?

Hey everyone, I'm moving into a new apartment in Brooklyn on 11/1, and this is my first time setting up a ConEd electric service. both their customer service number (some automated voicetrack) and chatbot re-direct me to an online portal where I fill in my new address and move-in date. Hey everyone, I'm moving into a new apartment in Brooklyn on 11/1, and this is my first time setting up a ConEd electric service. both their customer service number (some automated voicetrack) and chatbot re-direct me to an online portal where I fill in my new address and move-in date. However, they are not letting me choose my actual move-in date (11/1), the only option available is today's date. I just did the National Grid setup and that was easy - spoke with a representative who said no appointment/in-person setup is needed, they'll just switch the account to me on 11/1. For ConEd, I'm not sure if an actual appointment is needed to turn on, or I should just wait for move-in day and go through the portal again? I cannot figure out how to talk to a person at ConEd. Has anyone done this recently? For what it's worth, the electricity was on when I toured a few days ago. Thank you! [less]
