Do not move in here! I lived in this building for 2 years and well the apartment was great my entire experience has been soured by the behavior of the owner since I moved out. After saying she would return my security deposit in full the check never arrived at my new address. I reached out and was told she was sorry, and her phone had broken causing her to lose my contact information and updated address, could I please send it again. I resent the information and still no check. After 6 months of being told the check was coming and having it not arrive I decided to get the state attorney generals mediation service involved. They agreed that the security deposit should be returned but at this point the owner said that if I wanted it back I would have to sue her. One year after moving out I don’t have my security deposit back and am working on putting together the information I need for small claims court. TLDR: apartment is great but the landlord doesn’t return security deposits. [less]
