Living in a Newcastle Realty Services building is a very bad idea. I used to live one a little further south and it was unbelievable. Truly the closest thing I've had to a slumlord. No gas in the building during tenancy, no heat or hot water during the winter. Pretty sure they were just trying to "convince" the rent controlled tenants to leave so they can rent out apartments at market prices.
