building at 223 East 28th Street

I am a current resident in this building and the conditions and building management are awful! In the year that we have been living here, we've experienced problems with cockroaches, flies, and carbon monoxide. When each of these problems were brought the attention of building management, they were incredibly unhelpful in resolving the issue and approached our concern with condescension and rudeness. I would warn anyone looking at this property to think twice about renting here - I certainly would have appreciated someone telling me about these issues prior to signing our lease! Needless to say, we will be moving out at the end of our lease!
