71 West 83rd Street is a well-managed, historic, pre-war cooperative building built in around 1884 by notable builder George W. Da Cunha. It originally housed 96 single room occupancy apartments and converted to a coop in 1981. Just a block away from Central Park and minutes to museums, subways and many gourmet shops & restaurants. Common areas of the building include free laundry room and a bike room. The elevator was recently replaced.
