Building: 527 East 72nd Street

527-541 East 72nd Street was originally built in 1894 but was rebuilt in 1938. Although there are four entrances, it is one, long established cooperative. These townhouse style buildings, often referred to as “The Black & Whites”, have a distinctive, two-tone exterior and stunning high-gloss, red lacquer, front doors.
