Building: 16 West 77th Street

These two 16-story buildings which seem to blend as one were erected in 1927 and designed by Nathan Korn. It has been a well established cooperative since 1959. The buildings are distinguished by lovely canopied entrances, sidewalk landscaping, and a two story rusticated limestone base. The buildings hold a prominent position on one of the most coveted Upper West Side blocks across the street from the Museum of Natural History and just steps to Central Park. The elegant and intimate lobbies are staffed by both a 24-hour doorman, and a 24-hour elevator operator. Each floor consists of only 4 apartments affording its residents both privacy and tranquility.

The north facing 6 and 7 room apartments offer stunning views of the Museum of Natural History, and also include lovely vistas of Central Park. These residences also provide a front row seat for viewing the Thanksgiving Day Parade festivities.
