We have lived in this building for two years and have endured the worst treatment by the other residents and by the management. The amount of harassment we have endured from the other residents in Brussels has deteriorated our physical, mental and emotional health and we live in persistent stress and sleep deprivation. We have tried to document every single incident, only there are too many to record. We have made over a dozen complaints to management and they have not responded and the manager ever blocked my phone number so he would not receive complaints via text. We have made countless complaints to 311 and even a police report regarding their residents. We have endured harassment from every single neighbor we are surrounded by including the two next door neighbors, who are friends, and the upstairs neighbors, who once came down to bang on our door, try to enter our apartment and threatened us through the door. At Brussels, we have endured invasion of privacy, verbal threats, violence, mocking, purposeful and targeted noise like banging, dragging furniture and yelling through the walls. We even started a YouTube channel to show all the latest incidents of harassment we endure day and night living in Brussels. We have lived in the living room because drug smoke enters our bedroom from the people next door (one of the main harassers) and the manager has done nothing about it. Our safety is at risk, our wellbeing has deteriorated and we are at our wits end since we moved in, and the Kings & Queens management refuses to give us a transfer of apartments, thereby purposely subjecting us to the horrors their residents put us through. Say nothing about the fact that the LIRR is right outside our windows, which prevents us from opening our windows at night and makes us have to turn up the volume during the day. One of the worst places I have ever lived in. [less]
