Old appliances and non-responsive management

We are current tenants in the building and our appliances (washer and dryer) are a decade old. It's frustrating to see all the marketing on newly renovated units when our unit still has old and now chipped flooring and old amenities despite paying the same price for the unit. How can you urge management to listen to a long standing tenant paying market rent? We like the neighborhood and the staff is great.
