336 E. 86th St - Poor Management

Just wanted to post a note about 336 E. 86th St, for those that may be considering renting here. First, I will say the super and the doormen are great...they are always willing to help where they can, and where they are authorized to. The building is a bit tired...elevator frequently breaks (there is only one), frequent water issues, etc. However the property manager - Mautner-Glick - are terrible. They have absolutely no integrity. They will not be helpful if you have any issues. One of the worst experiences I have ever had, having lived in NYC for 12 years. I can't recommend anyone less....so have your eyes wide open before you commit to any building (including this one) managed by Mautner-Glick.
