The Hilary Gardens: Landlord and Mgmt Sucks

Staff is nice but the owners and Algin the leasing company are rude, unhelpful, and slave to outdated and obsolete business practices. They can be unprofessional and even unethical in my view. For example, they will not accept signed lease renewals or forms by scanned PDF attachment to email, even though much more important documents are accepted that way throughout the business community. They charge existing tenants $1,000 transfer fee to move units within the building (which they don't charge new tenants) which makes no sense except they want broker kick-backs. I have been in the building for six years, good location and building but appalled by the landlord's business practices. Any one else have similar experiences?
