Construction next door

Beware if you rent a room that is westward facing in this building. The terrific light and air that you get will soon be gone and you'll have to deal with the sounds of a jackhammer starting promptly at 7AM instead. A 27-story hotel is being built above the former Wendy's and McDonalds space that is adjacent to 132 East 45th. The value of this building is going to drop DRASTICALLY in the next year or so as every window in this rental will be facing a wall. Anyone reading this that is a tenant, please go to NYC.gov to report a noise complaint for the construction. It is unbearable, as you know.
