Discussion about Yorkville Tower 2 at 1641 Third Avenue in Yorkville
What is the status of the public park with the tennis court, etc.? I understood the owner had to allow this lot to be used for a public park for a certain time period. This was a community "give back" for developing luxury housing nearby. Last year that time period expired and he announced plans to take back the lot to build a luxury apartment house. Someone in the construction industry told me the apartment house was a done deal.
