Soap building on west side highway@debrosses (or near there)

Discussion about Pearline Soap Factory at 414 Washington Street in Tribeca
I am not sure exact;y what the cross street is there, but it's between washington and the wside highway. Is this a Ponte owned building/lot? Can't find anything about the building site except that there was a fire in the 1800's.
