Discussion about New York Tower at 330 East 39th Street in Murray Hill
Living in this building was a terrible experience. The super of the building is literally non responsive and always off. Living in this building was a terrible experience. The super of the building is literally non responsive and always off. If you have any sort of issues that needs repairs its likely you wait multiple days and even weeks for a response. Even less responsive than the super is the property owner Pan Am. One of the most unbearable companies I have ever dealt with. Before you sign your lease try calling Pan Ams office and try talking to anyone but their receptionist YOU LITERALLY WILL NOT BE ABLE TO. This building has alot of units and only 4 elevators, 1 or more of which is constantly broken. On top of the constant non functioning elevators, the building books full day move ins for a single apartment, leaving over 500 units with in between 1-3 (if none are broken) elevators. I have lived in multiple buildings and have never had such a sour and terrible experience with a building from top to bottom. Often times you will wait upwards of 7-8 hours to be able to get a package that was delivered, sometimes even a full 24 hours. Living in this building for a year, I have learned 1 thing, and that is this building is ran by completely incompetent individuals from those at Pan Am, all the way down to the snarky Super. I could not recommend not moving here anymore. The leasing agents will tell you everything you want to hear just to get you to sign a lease and once you sign the lease you wont be able to contact them again. [less]
