So many players, each of which deserves their own thread, and many of them (e.g., developers and politicians) already have multiple threads dedicated to them, so I am starting this one to focus on the informal alliance between law firms that specialize in "advising" coop boards and managing agents. The intended focus is to highlight those real world cases where one wonders what-on-earth the board in the given coop was thinking when it charged into what any neutral observer would likely class of ill-advised litigation.
