Complex: Rockefeller Apartments

Considered to be one of the most prestigious full service pre-war buildings in NYC, The Rockefeller Apartments is an iconic residential complex comprised of two buildings in midtown adjoined by an elegant private garden. Located near Fifth Avenue on 54th Street across from MOMA as well as on 55th Street, some of the apartments boast spectacular views of MOMA’s sculpture garden, while others enjoy the buildings’ courtyard garden view or the cityscape. The complex was built in 1936 as world-class apartments by the Rockefeller family architects, Wallace Harrison and Andre Fouilhoux and was declared an “International Style” New York landmark by the Landmarks Commission in 1984.
