Building: Tryon Views

In the late 30’s a stunning Art Deco building was constructed on Broadway across the street from Ft. Tryon Park in Hudson Heights.

The 6 story elevator building was designed by Horace Ginsbern, a famous architect of the era. His vintage collection of hand drawn plans of the building is stored at the Avery Architectural and Fine Arts Library in Columbia University.

The architectural design of the apartments offers spacious Pre- war style of old world charm featuring Sunken living rooms, entry Galleries, lots of windows, high ceilings, spacious rooms, original artistic block solid wood floor design and deco themes throughout the units with magnificent Ft.
