Building: The Pier

The Pier Apartments, located at 1 Harborside Place in downtown Jersey City, is an eight-story apartment complex located on a concrete pier extending into the Hudson River. The building has a beige façade with tall windows and balconies and a tiered roof.

The building has several available floor plans among its one- and two-bedroom units. Square footage ranges from about 700 square feet to 1,400 square feet in some of the larger two-bedroom apartments.

Apartments come with hardwood flooring and vaulted ceilings and each one has a dishwasher, central air conditioning and an in-unit washer and dryer. There are also large closets, stainless steel appliances and some units come with a balcony or patio, as well as panoramic views of the Hudson River and the Manhattan skyline.

The Pier has gated access and a full-time concierge service, as well as amenities like a business center, covered parking, recreation room, clubhouse, kids’ playground, and a fitness center. It also allows pets, though certain breeds may be restricted.

The Pier Apartment complex is convenient to public transportation, both locally and to New York City via PATH trains or the ferry. Within walking distance, there are plenty of local dining, shopping, and recreational options, including parks and theaters. There are also a number of local grocery stores, pharmacies and schools for children of all ages.
