Building: The New Yorker

Located in the tree-lined, park-filled community of Forest Hills and easily accessible from Yellowstone and Queens Boulevards, The New Yorker is a full service elevator doorman cooperative with a grand lobby entrance, live-in super, fitness center, children’s playroom, windowed laundry room, bike room, and onsite indoor parking. Resident owners are allowed to have multiple dogs (of any weight) and cats reside in the apartments and the sublet policy is liberal: up to five of every seven years after two years of owner occupancy.

Subway and bus access is very convenient: the 67th avenue M/R subway station is only a 4-minute walk with easy transfer to E/F trains and the Q72 LGA Airport bus. Entry is provided to the building’s main and secondary entrances via ramps for easy access when using strollers and carts. The building is currently zoned for P.S. 196 Elementary School.

There is a standard cooperative application process required by the board of directors. There is currently a monthly assessment in place through 7/1/2021 for capital projects.
