Completed in 1912, the stately nine-story structure is clad in glazed white terra cotta and Roman brick with deep-set windows and prominent terra cotta cornice. Designated as a landmark in 1993, the delicate Neo-Renaissance building comes from one of the city’s great nonconformist architectural firms, George & Edward Blum. Converted to a Co-op in 1985, the original full-floor apartments have been sub-divided over the years so that the current number is 25, an average of just 3 per floor.

The Co-op allows Gifting, Co-purchasing, Guarantors and 65% financing, and is pied-a-terre and pet-friendly. Financing is permitted to 65%. Residents enjoy a friendly Resident Manager with part-time doormen. Laundry is in the basement, but W/D is permitted in the units. Large basement storage is available at a small charge.
