Building: The Altamonte

The Altamonte is a pre-war Cooperative located at 606 West 113th Street between Riverside Drive and Broadway. It is a six-story, 1890’s Colonial Revival building offering studios to three-bedroom homes. The Co-op is part of the Morningside Heights Historic District receiving this notable distinction in 2017.

Surrounding 606 West 113th Street is Riverside Park to the west, and Morningside Park and Central Park to the east. Morningside Heights offers everything you could imagine in a neighborhood including cultural and education institutions, iconic architecture styles from Romanesque Revival to Neoclassical, a world of casual and fine dining, endless shopping of all kinds, and every modern-day convenience imaginable.

The building employs a live-in-superintendent. Amenities include a video intercom system and electronic key access. A laundry room is also available.

Major bus and subway lines, if you ever need them, are found just a few blocks from your lobby door.
