Building: Morse Building

140 Nassau Street is a well run cooperative loft building, located in the northern edge of the re-emerging Financial District, and very close to TriBeCa, City Hall, and the Seaport. Known as Morse Building (of Morse code fame), dating to 1878. This landmark co-op building has a very nice full-time superintendent, a beautifully landscaped panoramic rooftop terrace, and is pet friendly. The loft homes are large in scale, and many of them have original architectural details: like brick walls, exceptionally high barrel vaulted ceilings, hardwood floors, arched tall windows.
