Located in NoLIta at the corner of Broome and Mott Streets, the Brewster Carriage House is a new construction boutique condominium within a historic landmarked 19th Century building. Built in 1856, 374 Broome Street was the home to Brewster and Co., America’s most luxurious horse carriage maker. Clients included the Vanderbilts, Fricks and Astors. Brewster and Co. would later move onto automobile body building and car importing for Delaunay-Belleville and Rolls-Royce. In 2010, developer Ross Morgan of Little Red House converted this 6-story building into a condominium with 9 residential residences and one retail space. To preserve the unique history of the building, Morgan incorporated many original details into the construction, including the restoration of the building’s original cast-iron Corinthian columns, reuse of the building’s original wood joists in the lobby and the placement of a sconce from a real Brewster carriage in the lobby.

374 Broome Street is located in the heart of Lower Manhattan and provides convenient access to SoHo, NoHo, Little Italy, Lower East Side and the East Village. Convenient access to multiple subway lines included the 6, B, D, F, M, J, N, R, and Z. Nearby restaurants include Balaboosta, Balthazar, Cocoron, Café Habana, Despana, Freemans, Goldbar, La Esquina Corner Deli, Lure Fish Bar and Mulberry Project. Local food markets include Whole Foods, Met Foodmarket and Gourmet Garage. SoHo Strength Lab, New York Sports Club, Equinox and Drive 495 are also just a walk away.

Residence features include custom milled white Oak flooring, Control4 smart home, integrated sound system, security system and a Bosch washer and dryer. There is currently a doorman stationed Monday through Friday and the building is in the process of installing a virtual doorman as well.
