Building: Avalon Cove

Formerly known as “The Towers,” Avalon Cove at 444 Washington Boulevard in Jersey City is a newly renovated apartment community in downtown Jersey City. With 530 units spread over 25 floors, the Avalon Cove complex is located right on the Hudson River Waterfront Walkway and includes other outdoor spaces for residents’ use.

The units in Avalon Cove range from studios to four-bedroom apartments, featuring stainless steel appliances and granite countertops in the kitchens, marble tile in the bathrooms, and all units have hardwood flooring, in-unit laundry, and spacious closets. Some units also have balconies or private terraces with tremendous views of Manhattan across the Hudson River. Shared community spaces at Avalon Cove include barbecue and picnic areas, a fitness center, an outdoor heated swimming pool, a club room, and several sports and recreational courts. The complex has a gated entrance and has 24-hour maintenance service, as well as on-site storage units and a private, covered garage. Some common spaces are equipped with free Wi-Fi.

Avalon Cove is central to downtown Jersey City and is convenient to local public transportation. Also within range are plenty of entertainment venues, including museums, restaurants, movie theaters, and shopping areas, as well as a few grocery stores and pharmacies, though some of them are a bit further than walking distance.
