The building features a live-in superintendent, a full-time porter, a common outdoor garden/patio, a central laundry room, a bike room and a room for air conditioner storage. The building also offers additional private storage for rent. 99 east 4th street is pet-friendly and allows co-purchasing and gifting. Pied-a-terres and in-unit washer dryers are not permitted. Shareholders may sublet for two out of five years after two years of ownership.

While the apartments at 99 East 4th Street comprise a cooperative, the building’s two commercial spaces are condominiums. As a result, the building is legally a condop —a building that is part condo and part coop. 99 East 4th Street is NOT a coop with condo rules.
