The Rafolin Co-op, located at 65-15 38th Avenue, on the border between Woodside and Jackson Heights, is a very tidy, well-run building in an extremely convenient location. There are six subways lines nearby (F,E,M,R, and 7 local and express) and it’s five minutes away from the Woodside station on the LIRR. Midtown Manhattan is 20 minutes away, and the Brooklyn Queens Expressway is one minute’s drive from the front door. The apartments are generally small, but they are well-maintained. There is a live-in Super; large and clean laundry facilities; on-site parking (there’s a waiting list) and storage lockers (also a waiting list) are available. It’s a very nice Queens cooperative, and an excellent Manhattan alternative.
