622 West 114th Street—Revere Hall celebrated its centennial celebration in 2007. Built in 1907 by Schwartz and Gross, this boutique co-op is a stone’s throw from Columbia University. Six stories with 34 units, this is a classic example of the “H” design wooden frame buildings built on the side streets of Morningside Heights. Of note is the marble and tile lobby that is distinctive of the architect builders who were responsible for much of the prewar inventory in this neighborhood. A Landmarks plaque on the front of the building states that noted Hollywood filmmaker Cecil B. DeMille once resided here. Incorporated in 1986, Revere Hall allows for 80% financing.
