Building: 446 Central Park West

446 Central Park West, also know as “The Greenwich”, is a co-op building that was built in 1920 and converted to co-op in 2002. It consists of 35 units spread over 7 floors.

It was designed in a Beaux Arts style, featuring a one-story rusticated stone base, a red brick body and top with terra-cotta detailing. The entrance boasts a flat cornice topped with an intricately woven iron railing.

Located on the Upper West Side, directly across from Central Park West between 104th & 105th Streets, it is only 1 block away from the B & C subway lines and nearby the 1, 2 & 3 lines on Broadway, as well as the Columbia University. The school district is PS 145.

The building amenities include a live-in superintendent, elevator and a modern laundry room in the building. The maintenance fees are very low and the sublet policy liberal. There is 80% financing allowed and the building is cat friendly, but there are unfortunately no dogs allowed.
