Building: 34-35 82nd Street

Landmark Colonials located on 82nd street, between 34th and 35th avenues in the heart of Historic District! Designed by the famed architect George H.Wells and built in 1915, this is one of the oldest buildings in Jackson Heights. The complex comprised of six identical five-story walk-up buildings and each one has only 2 apartments per floor and marble staircases. Designed in the neo-Georgian style, the Colonials are clad in red brick and trimmed with white stone and ornamental panels. Each building has a projecting entrance portico with round-arched doorway flanked by columns supporting the iron balustrade.
