Building: 30 Clinton Street

30 Clinton Street is a classic, pre-war building in classy Brooklyn Heights. A variety of studio and one bedroom apartments comprise the layouts, with some sensible unit combinations. There are marble floors in the hallway, and original picture-frame moldings still adorn the walls in the units where they’ve been preserved. While only 6 stories, it has a beautifully preserved elevator (with thoroughly modern mechanicals). There is card-operated laundry in the basement, and storage is available for a very nominal annual fee (waiting list applies). There is also a locked bike room.

The building carries no mortgage whatsoever, and the financials are stellar. It has been fabulously run by the same building manager for over 25 years. New windows are about to be installed in every unit (as of this writing in September 2015). Pets are welcome!
