Building: 276 East 10th Street

The mosaic facade of this building shares the story of the East Village more eloquently, with fewer words, than anyone else. One look at this classic 6 floor walk-up and you will feel all of the history, charm, and essence of cool detail that have given the East Village its world-renowned reputation as the hippest place on the planet.

Nestled cozily on the south side of the quiet, beautiful, tree-lined e 10th street, around the corner from Tompkins Square Park, the unique features of this building’s facade, the pristine garden, and immaculate rooftop views of midtown Manhattan make this an amazing place to live. Trust me, I did for 3 years.

The building was sold in 2015 and has undergone a complete interior restoration but many of the original details remain the same. Hopefully they will forever.

Also Martin Scorsese wanted to shoot the show “Vinyl” there.
