Building: 15 East 91st Street

Carnegie Hill – 91st Street Corporation was designed by the architecture firm Schultze and Associates in collaboration with the Columbia School of Architecture using state of the art materials such as white brick for the façade. This Modern buff-colored brick building was built as a cooperative between 1946 and 1947 and has Art Deco elements. There are 43 units on 16 floors in this full service white glove building. The apartments have high ceilings, oversized windows and most have fireplaces. Many of the units enjoy balconies, some of which have been enclosed and made into an additional room. Above the 10th floor there are many set back terraces. The cooperative renovated their gym in 2014. Pets welcome. Well located between Fifth Avenue and Madison Avenue, it is across the street from The Spence School and down the street from Convent of the Sacred Heart. 50% financing permitted but no pied-a-terres allowed. Cage storage in basement for each unit. 2.5% transfer tax on gross sale.
