Building: 11 Great Jones Street

Situated in the heart of NoHo at the corner of Great Jones and Lafayette Streets, 11 Great Jones is a new development (opening in 2016) boutique rental building featuring eight luxury residences –– a collection of two- and three-bedroom Loft apartments ranging from 1,300-square feet to over 2,000 square feet for the duplex penthouses. All apartments boast extra-high ceilings at 10.5-to 11-feet, have direct key-locked elevator access, 7” white oak floors and custom shades and drapery throughout, as well as custom walk-in California closets. Sleek Italian kitchens feature flexible layouts with work surfaces of Carrara marble and Gaggenau appliances, including a 5-burner cooktop oven, as well as custom cabinetry by Rexa, an environmentally-friendly Italian firm that uses solar energy for all of their processes. The building’s bathrooms are defined by clean, contemporary materials, including marble lined floors and walls, spa-like soaking tubs, and vanities with Carrara marble and Lacava sinks. Bathrooms also have custom cabinetry by Italian bathroom manufacturer Rexa and radiant heated flooring, and there is a Bosch washing machine/dryer in each apartment. With dramatic architecture that pays homage to its historic NoHo surroundings, the striking six-story building was designed by the renowned Morris Adjmi Architects. Amenities include a 24-hour virtual doorman, modern lobby, and common roof deck with views of the surrounding neighborhood, as well as easy access to top NoHo, SoHo, and Greenwich Village entertainment such as Gato, Lafayette, Il Buco, the Smile, Momofuku Ko and Astor Wines & Spirits, and the renowned performance spaces Joe’s Pub and the Public Theater.
